This page covers only this website and its waitlist. The Lidcue app isn't out yet. It will have its own privacy policy. We will post it before the app comes out.
Who are we?
We are Ridgeweave Labs LLC, a small company in Colorado. We are making Lidcue, an iPhone app for keeping track of your medicines.
What do we collect?
Only your email address. That's all we ask for.
When you join, we also save:
- that you ticked the box to say yes
- the date and time you joined
- which version of this policy you saw
We do not save your name. We do not save your IP address (the number that points to your computer on the internet). We do not save what kind of phone or browser you use.
Do you ask about my health?
No. Please don't send us anything about your health or your medicines. This site doesn't need it.
Joining a waitlist for a medicine app could hint at your health. So we protect your email as if it were health information. You can read more in our Consumer Health Data Policy.
What do you use my email for?
Only to send you news about Lidcue: the waitlist and when the app comes out.
We haven't sent any emails yet. Every email we send will have a link to stop getting them.
Do you sell or share my email?
No. We never sell or rent your email. We never share it for ads. We don't use it to guess things about you.
Who else handles my email?
Only the companies that run this site for us:
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Cloudflare D1, a Cloudflare service, stores the waitlist.
- An email service will send our waitlist emails. We will name it here before we send the first email.
- Grok Bot, our assistant service, receives and holds the emails you send us.
They may use your email only to do this work for us.
Do you use cookies or trackers?
No. This site has no ads, no trackers and no cookies. It has no tools that watch what you do.
Cloudflare runs the computers behind this site. To show you the page and stop attacks, Cloudflare has to see your IP address. Cloudflare may keep short records of visits to block attacks and keep the site running. Those records follow Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We don't use them to track you, and we don't add your IP address to the waitlist.
How long do you keep my email?
- If you stop the emails or ask us to delete your email, we delete it within 30 days.
- If not, we delete the whole waitlist 12 months after the app comes out.
- If we decide not to make the app, we delete the waitlist within 30 days of that choice.
What can I ask you to do?
You can ask us to:
- tell you if we have your email
- show you what we have
- fix it
- delete it
- tell you who else has handled it (the companies listed above)
- stop emailing you
You can also take back your yes at any time. Just ask us to delete your email.
Email us at friday-innes+lidcue@mail.grokbot.com. We will answer within 30 days. We may ask you to write from the email you signed up with. That helps us know it's really you.
If we say no, you can ask us to look again. Reply to our answer and say so. If you still disagree, you can contact your state's attorney general.
These rights come from laws like the Colorado Privacy Act and Washington's My Health My Data Act. We give them to everyone who joins.
Who can join?
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must live in the United States.
This site is not meant for children. We don't knowingly collect email from children under 13. If we learn that a child signed up, we delete the email.
Is Lidcue medical advice?
No. Lidcue is a tool to keep track. It is not medical advice. Always follow your doctor, pharmacist and the label on your medicine.
How do you protect my email?
We limit who can see it. Only the people at Ridgeweave Labs who run the waitlist can see it. No website can promise perfect protection. If someone who shouldn't gets into the waitlist, we will tell you as the law requires.
What if this policy changes?
We will post the new version here with a new date. If we ever want to use your email in a new way, we will ask you first.
